At CPM, we follow a clear and solid methodology in which students complement important grammar and vocabulary with everyday expressions and useful language. We use a variety of methods to encourage them to listen, speak, read and write, and we hope they leave the course confident to face a wider world through English.

Certification

Our students finish the regular course with a B1* intermediate level of English

Schedule of classes

The courses are divided into semester-long modules, 1x a week on Saturdays or Sundays, with 2 hours of classes in the online model and 3 hours in the face-to-face model.

In-person classes

Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Online classes

Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

NOTE: the time and format of your class will depend on the level you are enrolled in after the English placement test.

Cidadão Pró-Mundo’s English courses are completely free and include teaching materials from Cambridge University (one of the best in the world).

Volunteer at Rio de Janeiro

As a CPM volunteer, you can choose to work as an English teacher or as part of the administrative team in the Teaching Units, in the regular English course or in CPM Qualify, our preparatory course for the Cambridge proficiency exams.

Other Units

Currently, Cidadão Pró-Mundo has 10 Units, 9 in the state of São Paulo, 1 in the state of Rio de Janeiro and 1 Virtual Unit.
