According to Law no. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – “LGPD”) and for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association acts as the controller of your Personal Data.


What Personal Data we collect and process

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association receives your data (a) when you provide them by registering in the program through the completion of registration forms offered on third-party platforms, such as “Google Forms”, in which case the privacy policy of the respective provider is applicable; (b) by subscribing to our newsletter directly on the Site; and (c) when you use and browse our Site.


Personal Data may be collected via email, enrollment and recruitment forms, physical lists, such as event attendance, business cards, instant messaging apps, or social networks.

When registering to become a registered user of the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association, we may collect information about you, such as:

Registration data: any personal data you provide when subscribing to the newsletter or as a student or volunteer when registering in the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association program, such as full name, social name, date of birth, personal document numbers (CPF and RG), email address, residential and professional address, mobile and/or landline number, contact preferences, gender, educational data, socioeconomic data, professional data, information about preferences regarding participation in the Organization, and data of legal guardians, in case of minors’ registration. For newsletter registration, we will only collect your name and email address.

Sensitive personal data: racial or ethnic origin and photo.


Browsing data: as you use our Site, additional information about you may be obtained by the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association due to the provision of hosting services performed by third parties, such as your IP address, date and time of access, browser used, clickstream (clicks made on the page – used to evaluate the level of navigability of our web pages), duration of the visit, location, language, and pages visited.

Bank data: bank, CPF, current or savings account number, agency and/or PIX key for bank deposits/transfers, if necessary for expense reimbursement or spontaneously provided by the data subject, for example, when making a donation and requesting the issuance of a donation receipt.

Your Personal Data is processed in accordance with Brazilian legislation, included in electronic databases, according to the purposes established in this Privacy Policy, and accessed by the minimum number of people necessary to achieve the established purpose, all bound by confidentiality and security duties.

    By filling out the registration for volunteer recruitment or to compete for course vacancies at the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association, you or your legal representative (if you are a minor) explicitly consent to the collection of your Sensitive Personal Data indicated above, which will be used for the purpose of elaborating internal reports of the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association and will not be shared with third parties.

  • With volunteer collaborators of the Pró-Mundo Association, exclusively for the purposes provided for in item 2 above;

According to Law no. 13.709/2018 (General Data Protection Law – “LGPD”) and for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association acts as the controller of your Personal Data.


What Personal Data we collect and process

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association receives your data (a) when you provide them by registering in the program through the completion of registration forms offered on third-party platforms, such as “Google Forms”, in which case the privacy policy of the respective provider is applicable; (b) by subscribing to our newsletter directly on the Site; and (c) when you use and browse our Site.


Personal Data may be collected via email, enrollment and recruitment forms, physical lists, such as event attendance, business cards, instant messaging apps, or social networks.

When registering to become a registered user of the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association, we may collect information about you, such as:

Registration data: any personal data you provide when subscribing to the newsletter or as a student or volunteer when registering in the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association program, such as full name, social name, date of birth, personal document numbers (CPF and RG), email address, residential and professional address, mobile and/or landline number, contact preferences, gender, educational data, socioeconomic data, professional data, information about preferences regarding participation in the Organization, and data of legal guardians, in case of minors’ registration. For newsletter registration, we will only collect your name and email address.

Sensitive personal data: racial or ethnic origin and photo.


Browsing data: as you use our Site, additional information about you may be obtained by the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association due to the provision of hosting services performed by third parties, such as your IP address, date and time of access, browser used, clickstream (clicks made on the page – used to evaluate the level of navigability of our web pages), duration of the visit, location, language, and pages visited.

Bank data: bank, CPF, current or savings account number, agency and/or PIX key for bank deposits/transfers, if necessary for expense reimbursement or spontaneously provided by the data subject, for example, when making a donation and requesting the issuance of a donation receipt.

Why we collect and process these Personal Data

Your Personal Data is processed in accordance with Brazilian legislation, included in electronic databases, according to the purposes established in this Privacy Policy, and accessed by the minimum number of people necessary to achieve the established purpose, all bound by confidentiality and security duties.

We utilize your Personal Data to:

  • Perform internal analyses, such as audits, data analysis, and research to improve services and communications with Users and generate statistical analyses related to the use of our services.

  • Comply with the purpose informed at the time of collection. We may, for example, use your registration information to contact you and register you as a volunteer or student, to issue certificates, statements of your interest, or to prepare and maintain an academic history with your information if you are a student. Periodically we may use Personal Data to send notices and important notifications about the course, such as announcements,
    changes in deadlines, conditions, and policies.

  • Enable the necessary steps for the development of our activities, always observing the limits of your expectation and never to the detriment of your interests, rights, and fundamental freedoms.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve the resources and functionalities of our Site. We will use your device information to analyze the performance of our Site, verify users' browsing habits, evaluate statistics related to access numbers and use of the Site, its resources, and functionalities, as well as to improve the browsing experiences
    and to offer a more personalized service. We may also analyze and solve technical problems and identify and prevent fraud in the use of our Site.

  • Send information about the Organization to users subscribed to our newsletter.

    By filling out the registration for volunteer recruitment or to compete for course vacancies at the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association, you or your legal representative (if you are a minor) explicitly consent to the collection of your Sensitive Personal Data indicated above, which will be used for the purpose of elaborating internal reports of the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association and will not be shared with third parties.

All information that can individually identify you, directly or indirectly, will not be used for any other purpose beyond those described in this Privacy Policy.

How we use cookies and other technologies

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association may use basic information about you that cannot identify you directly but may relate to you or a certain device.

When we delete the Personal Data

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association stores your Personal Data as provided for in this Privacy Policy until the respective purpose is achieved, if they are no longer necessary or relevant to the achievement of the specific intended purpose, in case of your communication or by determination of the National Data Protection Authority.

After the end of the treatment, we will eliminate your Personal Data within the scope and within the technical limits of our activities. In some cases, we may retain your information even if you delete your registration, such as in cases of mandatory record retention as provided in applicable law, if there is an unresolved issue related to your registration (such as, for example, an unresolved complaint or dispute), or if it is necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing the security of our users.

We may keep data in an anonymized manner, that is, without being or being able to be related to a User, for longer periods.

Who else will have access to the Data and why

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association may share your Personal Data with third parties, and by this act, you authorize and consent to us sharing your Personal Data for the purposes described here:

  • With volunteer collaborators of the Pró-Mundo Association, exclusively for the purposes provided for in item 2 above;

  • With partners for the necessary terms to partnership and through data sharing only of students who will participate in the partnerships, having expressed interest for such (for example, courses);

  • To enable the suitable supply and operation of our Site;

  • With police authorities, courts, or other third parties with whom we are required by law, regulatory norm, or court order to share Personal Data. In these situations, the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association will cooperate with the competent authorities as it deems necessary and appropriate in relation to any investigation of illegal activities, industrial or intellectual property rights violations, or any activity that is illegal or that could expose the Organization or its users to any legal liability or
    expose them to risks, except for instances of information confidentiality as stated in applicable legislation;

  • When there are sufficient reasons to consider that a user's activity is suspicious, illegal, or harmful to the Organization or others. This right will be exercised by the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association when it considers it appropriate or necessary to maintain the integrity and security of its service, to comply with its Privacy Policy, and to cooperate with the law enforcement and compliance;

  • When you expressly request or authorize the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association to share your Personal Data in cases not provided for in this Privacy Policy.

Except in cases of fulfilling legal obligations or court orders, sensitive data is not shared with third parties, being accessed only by management collaborators of the Organization who need to manipulate them and are authorized by legal guardians to do so. For third parties, such data is presented only in aggregate form in report/indicator format.

The information we collect from you is stored in third-party hosting services that may be located in Brazil or other countries, in accordance with the privacy policies of such companies, for the period provided for in applicable legislation.

In using these services, the Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association always seeks cloud computing companies that employ a high level of security in storing your information, establishing contracts that do not violate the privacy definitions provided for in this Policy. Before sending your data for storage in other countries, we take the measures required by law to ensure that these remain protected.

The Cidadão Pró-Mundo Association adopts the best technical and administrative practices to protect Personal Data from unauthorized access, destruction, loss, alteration, communication, or any form of inadequate or illicit treatment.

The Pró-Mundo Association is not in any way responsible if it has not conducted the Personal Data processing attributed to it, if there is no violation of data protection legislation, or if any damage results solely from your fault or that of a third party.
