We are more than 1300 volunteers working so that 2300 young students from public schools can have access to English learning.

Our Method

At CPM, we follow a clear and solid methodology where students complement important grammar and vocabulary with everyday expressions and useful language. We use a variety of methods to encourage them to listen, speak, read, and write, and we hope they leave the course confident to face a wider world through English.

Class Schedule

The courses are divided into semester modules, occurring once per week on Saturdays or Sundays, lasting 2 hours in the online format or 3 hours in the in-person format.

Cambridge International Certificate

Our students complete the regular course with an intermediate level of English B1, and they can obtain the official Cambridge Certificate after studying for one more year at CPM Qualify.

Specialized volunteers

CPM Volunteachers have an intermediate/advanced level of English and receive the necessary preparation to work in the classroom: training, lesson plans, support from the pedagogical team, and cutting-edge teaching materials provided by Cambridge.

Our Achievements

Recognized as one of the 100 Best NGOs in Brazil, CPM was voted the Best Education NGO in Brazil in 2020 and is considered the largest and most well-structured English teaching NGO in the country. In over 25 years of activity, it has trained more than 700 students, with the help of our volunteer team.

To achieve this, we apply the "flipped classroom" model, which consists of learning in 3 phases. This means that our students undertake individual activities before class to prepare and then attend the weekend class, concluding with homework. This model is supported by Cambridge teaching materials and the entire pedagogical structure created by our teaching team to ensure the course fits the profile of those studying with us and to provide our volunteer team with all the support needed to deliver classes with excellence.
